Flat Top Mineral Makeup Brush #Review

Hey everyone! I recently got a cool product to review for you. I would like to tell you some more about it. It is the Flat Top Mineral Makeup Brush and it is from the company: Bellizima Rose.

Here is some product info:

  • Premium Flat Top Makeup Brush Helps You Master Your Makeup Technique And Lets You Flawlessly Apply Loose Or Pressed Mineral Powders. The Flat Top Shape Allows For A Full, Even Coverage During Each And Every Application.
  • The Best Makeup Brush You Can Use This Summer To Apply Mineral Makeup And Get That Light, Beautiful, Airbrushed, Natural Look.
  • When Used To Apply Your Mineral Makeup Our Flat Top Brush Does An Amazing Job Concealing The Appearance Of Fine Lines And Wrinkles, Blotchiness, And Improves The Appearance Of The Skin.
  • Super Dense, High Quality, Soft As A Baby's Bum Bristles, Will Not Shed As You Apply Your Makeup. Unique Design Picks Up Stronger Amounts Of Mineral Powder, Avoiding Fallout And Giving Your Powder Longer Life.

My Take on the product

I received the brush a couple of weeks ago. And was all set to test this out. But, like with a lot of products I get - especially ones that have to do with makeup - my daughter took it over! Lol.

But believe it or not - as a teenager who loves makeup - she actually knows a lot about makeup and applying makeup. So I asked her what she thinks about the makeup brush.

She said the flat top brush was  - number one really soft! It is gentle on your face and will not scratch your face like some other brushes.

It also is very wide and is great for applying powder to your whole face - she said. Also the flat top shape gives you even coverage.

My daughter and I really recommend this makeup brush to you. It is great for all your loose and mineral powder makeup applications!

Easy Ideas for Organizing your Craft Clutter

Enjoying arts and crafts projects in your home is a great way to relax, spend time with family, or create meaningful gifts for loved ones. Unfortunately, we all know that clutter can quickly accumulate. If left uncontrolled, this could quickly overwhelm entire rooms of the home and ruin your crafting fun. Here are a few tricks for keeping your clutter under control.

Use Paper Towel Holders

Storing ribbons and tape rolls on empty paper towel holders not only frees up drawer and counter space, but makes your supplies easier to see and access. No need to spend time re-rolling all those slippery ribbon rolls.

Ribbon Scraps on Notecards

Have extra ribbon without a spool or scraps from other projects?  Use cardstock or notecards by simply wrapping the ribbon around the cards and securing with a pin or piece of tape.  Store the cards in a drawer where you can see all the types and colors at a glance. It’s an easy way to tell your grosgrain ribbon from your offrays, and so on!

Color-coded Pegboards

Make a grid pattern (or whatever shapes work best for you) on a pegboard using electrical tape. Put newspaper underneat the board and color your shapes with acrylic paint. For extra points, draw the outline of each craft tool that will be hanging with black marker. Hang up your board and enjoy uncluttered organization!

Glitter Salt & Pepper Shaker

Find clear salt and pepper shakers of all sizes at your local dollar stores, thrift stores, or flea markets.  Fill them with your favorite glitters, and you have an attractive and easy way to store a craft favorite.

Mason Jar Storage

For supplies that can’t seem to find a home, use Mason jars.  Simply cover the lids in chalkboard paint and label with whatever baubles you have, e.g., rubber bands, beads, even googly eyes!  Store the jars in a small basket and use the tops to find what you need.

Odds & Ends in Muffin Tins and Ice Trays

For smaller bits in smaller amounts, use a simple ice tray or muffin tin. You can find them at inexpensive discount stores. Stack them in a cabinet for a painfree way to keep track of those pesky odds and ends.

Next time you find yourself sitting in a crowded craft room, just look around and get creative! The solution to your clutter could be closer than you think.

Family Time at Virginia Beach

If you recall, I mentioned recently that my sister came to visit. She was here for a week. And one of the things we did was go to Virginia Beach. (Except my son didn't come)

If you take a consecutive row of pics now +Google+  will make a motion GIF:

We had a fun day at the beach. The waves there are a little rough. My husband is the only one who braved it past his knees.

Soap Nuts Liquid Laundry Detergent #Review

I received a product called Soap Nuts Liquid Laundry Detergent to review. This is a unique product and I would like to tell you some more information about it.

Soap Nuts Liquid Laundry detergent is made by the company Green Virgin Products.

+STAY AT HOME MOM

my review:

Contrary to my previously stating I don't post much in the month of July, here is a new review - ha-ha.

I have been testing out this product for about 2 weeks or more - and I really like it. I just squirt 1-3 pump fulls into washer. According to the directions - 2 pumps per average load for HE washer. 3 for top loader or for large or dirty loads use more.

I have been averaging about 3 pumps per load. Because I usually do a full load at a time.

This is extracted from a soap called saponin - which is all natural. It is combined with water to make it 100% non-toxic.

Also cool info - one 8oz bottle will do approx 120 loads - which can really save you money. It is also great for the environment :)

This will leave your clothes really clean and also soft - and you don't even have to use fabric softener with it either. I noticed my towels were really soft after using this.

I would recommend you trying out this product

Visit Green Virgin Products for more info & purchasing.

retails at $18.95 - but consider a 50 oz bottle of Tide retails for around the same price and only does 32 loads of laundry and has a lot of chemicals and not environmentally friendly.

Check Soap Nuts Liquid Laundry Detergent out today!

The Fountain of Youth: Three Ways to Look and Feel Younger

When we reach a certain age, a bit of extra effort may be required to look and feel young. With the overwhelming amount of products available claiming to be the fountain of youth, it’s difficult to know what products you actually need, and which ones will work for you, your lifestyle, and your budget. Many products may also make it look like you’re striving too hard to look younger and make you appear unnatural. When striving to look younger, it’s important to pay attention to a few foundational aspects of your appearance: your teeth, your skin, and your hair. Accept that you are growing older and that you’re beautiful at any age. Use products to enhance your natural beauty and give you a fresh, younger glow.
Your Smile
Years of coffee, wine, and age can have a harsh effect on your teeth. Many individuals have young-looking skin but feel self-conscious about their smiles, because of the stains age has applied. Cosmetic dentistry is a great solution if you’re self-conscious about your teeth. It’s a new term for ages-old procedures that have been benefiting individuals for generations. From dental implants and crowns to teeth whitening, cosmetic dentistry may be a great solution for you to refresh your look and help you regain a sense of confidence in your effortless smile.
You can click here to read more about cosmetic dentistry and how it might benefit your everyday life.
Your Skin
Many women have reported that once they reach their thirties, their old skincare regimen no longer works. Skin is more resilient in your teens and twenties, and harsh products have less effect than they do when you reach your thirties. It’s often best to switch to gentler skincare products that don’t dry out the skin and won’t clog pores, especially because adult-onset acne is common among women in their thirties and forties. It may be time to start budgeting for a monthly trip to the dermatologist or to an aesthetician, who can recommend consistent treatments to keep your skin cells regenerating and give your skin a beautiful, youthful glow. Exercise will also help your skin glow and give you more energy throughout the day, as well as providing a myriad of other wonderful health benefits.
Your Hair

As we grow older, hair thins, becomes more brittle, loses luster, and often changes color. Increasingly, aging individuals choose not to color their hair to cover grey, which can be a beautiful choice, allowing one to age gracefully. Many products are available to help thicken and add body to limp hair, and deep conditioning treatments and serums can help add a shiny, youthful appearance to hair that is diminishing in shine. Often shorter hair cuts work better for thinning hair, because the weight of the ends of your hair won’t weigh the roots down. If you do decide to color your hair, consult a professional colorist to get a natural color that enhances skin tone.

We also gave him, since he turned 18 all the Savings Bonds he has gotten since he was born from everyone.
He maybe able to use some for College - because good news - He got accepted yesterday to

Single Moms: Setting Up a Comfortable and Happy Home

As a single mother with much to juggle, setting up your home may seem like a low priority. However, a comfortable home with not only create a safe, welcoming space for your children, but also give you a haven in which to unwind after a long day of working, running after the children, and taking care of your own needs. You don’t have to hire an expensive decorator or have a lot of one-of-a-kind décor items to make your home a sanctuary for you and your family. You just need a little creativity and the tenacity to secure a home you love. Here are a few ways to create a comfortable, happy home.

Location, Location, Location
If you don’t live in an apartment or house you already like, it may be time to look into some other housing options. This may seem like an impossible task, based on budget. However, housing assistance may be available for you and your children. For more information, visit SingleMothers.us for some ideas. Find a location that is in a family-oriented neighborhood. Outdoor space is nice if you live in a climate that allows for outdoor play, and if the neighborhood is safe enough for your children.

Furniture Arrangement
Even if you don’t have the nicest, newest furniture (or if you do!), you can still arrange everything in a way that makes you feel comfortable and at-home in your space. Pay attention to the space between seating, the focal point of the room, and the utility of your seating. It’s nice to have end tables between chairs, as well as a coffee table that can double as a footrest in front of the couch. If your furniture is looking too shabby for your tastes, consider shampooing it or purchasing some inexpensive slipcovers. You can find some great slipcovers at Ikea: http://www.ikea.com. Homemade pillows also add charm, and pillows are easy to make.

Lighting
Harsh lights or bulbs with a yellow glow can make even the nicest spaces feel crowded and old. For evening lighting, purchase floor or table lamps (at second-hand stores if you’re on a tight budget), and place them in corners and on tables throughout the room. Use these instead of an overhead light to create a relaxed atmosphere. In the daytime, open blinds and curtains to let daylight shine in on your comfortable, happy living room.

Beamly for July - still having fun

Hey guys I want to let you know I am still having fun with the app Beamly. I wanted to tell you some of the different aspects of what I have been enjoying about it so far.

One thing that has been really great is some of the people I have been interacting with. I have really gotten to know some of the people. And so far everyone has been super nice and friendly.

I have been chatting with some of the same group, because we all end up liking the same TV Shows. So when I log into Beamly, I can start chatting with some of my friends. I have also made a lot of new friends recently too. I have over 100 followers on my profile.

The above picture is actually a small sample of what my profile looks like. Ha-Ha! I chose that profile picture - which is from a couple of seasons ago from Big Brother.

Big Brother is still my number one favorite Summer show. So I love watching it and chatting online with others about it. That is what is cool with this show. You can chat right as it's happening and get responses from other users too. So they can give you their perspectives on the show also.

Check out the Big Brother chat room to see what's going on. A lot of the Big Brother alum from past seasons are also chatting in there. A lot of times if you have a question about a shows or missed something - other people in the room will be able to help you or fill you on stuff that you might have missed.

I am chatting in some other shows going on this Summer also. I belong to a total of 26 TV Rooms right now. And hope you can join me on Beamly this summer to chat with me. Check it out today and follow me through my profile!

I will be talking next week more about Beamly too! And some other insights about it. Check back next week for more info!

Know Your Rights: Three Parts of Law Every Citizen Should Understand

The developed world can be a complicated place with all the laws that have been written and passed down through the years. While most people probably don’t need to know all the ins and outs of the law, there are some important areas of law that citizens should know in case they need to defend themselves. By knowing your rights, you can easily act within them and gain a peace of mind even when faced with difficult situations that may come up. Worker’s comp laws, traffic laws, and renters’ laws are three common law categories all citizens should understand to protect themselves and their loved ones if a problem ever arises.
Workers’ Compensation
In many states, workers’ comp is a type of insurance that is required if an employer has more than two employees in the business. It covers medical expenses and lost wages if an employee is injured at work. Work injuries are common, especially if your work is physically demanding. Be sure to follow all safety guidelines in your work place. It can prevent injury, but if you are injured while following the safety guidelines, you may be eligible for workers’ comp, which can keep you and your family afloat while you heal. If you are eligible for workers’ comp, and your employer is being difficult about granting it to you, hire a skilled workers’ comp lawyer to help you navigate your rights. You also may be able to gain compensation if you have a pre-existing condition that is aggravated by your tasks at work. You can click here to learn more about workers’ comp attorneys.
Traffic Laws
Whether you’re a pedestrian or operating a vehicle, it’s important to understand traffic laws for your state. Car accidents happen far too often, and you’ll want to know right away if you’re the perpetrator or the victim in the case of a collision. This is especially important if you are injured in an accident, as many insurance companies compensate lost wages, and you’ll want to be sure to get insurance money to cover the cost of your automobile and any health expenses related to the accident. Some traffic laws vary from state to state, such as turning right on a red light, or the amount of time you need to remain in a lane on the freeway before merging into another lane. Familiarize yourself with these laws to avoid being the cause of an accident.
Renters’ Laws
If you rent your home, it’s vitally important to become familiar with your rights, especially if you are in a situation where your landlord is being dishonest. Many states favor the rights of renters. In many states, if your landlord wants to enter the property, he or she must provide written notice twenty-four hours in advance. It is also very difficult to evict a tenant in many states, so you should know your rights in the event that a landlord is making empty threats.

Husband Pics

Sorry for my lack of posting lately. I say this every July - but typically this is the slowest month for blogging for me - I'm lucky if I do 6 to 10 posts all month.

On top of the that my Sister is visiting from Massachusetts this week. So I'm busy this week. Will try to post more soon.

My husband lately is the only one who even wants to pose for pictures. Remember I wrote about How to Train Your Dragon 2 - well we actually went to see that recently. We saw it at an Imax theater and it was cool because my husband with his eyesight actually never could see 3-D - but the Imax he could see the effects.

Husband with glasses:

We went to the beach recently. Husband at beach:

I have some reviews to post & should be posting more soon! Have a great day guys! How is your summer going?

Went Blueberry Picking

Recently, my husband and I went blueberry picking. This farm we went to was the same one where we went strawberry picking awhile ago.

They have a whole field of blueberry bushes (more like trees) if you ask me.  When we were there strawberry picking - we heard one of the owners say there are 1000 blueberry bushes!

My husband took a group of photos of me & since I don't post of "me" too much here they are lol & google + turned them into this motion gif:

Hot Moody Mess - H3:60 Completed

Good morning everyone! I wanted to update you all on the Hot Moody Mess program I just completed! If you would like to read/review my previous posts on this please go here and here.

I don't think I mentioned before what H3:60 actually stands for - but I was reminded by looking at the flyer they just sent me. And I wanted to share that with you. It means: "Happy, Healthy and Hot in 60 days."

Well you may be wondering if I achieved this? In 60 days. Well I think I am on my way to that and this program really helped.

Right from the start this is very helpful you get weekly information. That you can access on the site - which provides info on good foods to eat, whole foods, smoothie recipes, with audio and videos to watch to get you inspired too. And a lot more!

There are also group phone calls - which I admittedly at first was hesitant about. I was pretty nervous the first one and I really was never of a group sharer. But I actually really ended up liking the group calls. And got a lot out of them. You get to talk to the coaches and get their advice on what has been going on. And you also get to hear the other members questions. Which was very beneficial.

To be Honest, I am also pre-menopausal, and the coaches Tawny & Stacie even gave some advice on that. Like what supplements and herbal medicines too that can help with that.

At the end of the program, on the 8th week you also get access to everything you need to know for a week detox. Everyone (if they want) can do the detox for a week and it helps cleanse out your system and drop some pounds. And don't worry - you actually get to eat on this detox.

mrtellme.com

Hi everyone! I just found another new website that is really cool. On this website you can find meanings and definitions.

This is a totally free website to use and you can find answers easily. It is called Mr. TellMe. It is a search engine and will find the answers to your questions quickly.

If you would like to find stuff out like for example: What is IP? What is Font? What is Curse Voice? What is Kappa?

I had no idea what Kappa was so I typed that into the search button and this is what came up:

[Source] The Kappa is a Japanese water demon. They are infamous for sneaking up on intruding... - Read more

Sounds cool - a Japanese water demon! Who knew? When I posted that I also notice a bunch of related questions that came up too. And it also showed some recent questions people must be asking.

According to the info. from the company they use "artificial intelligence." And you will most likely find what you are looking for. Check it out for yourself!

SafeHands Alcohol-Free Hand Sanitizer Line for Children & Adults Review

Product Description
After years of in-depth scientific research and clinical testing, Dr. Jay Reubens, the inventor of the first touch-free dispenser, created safeHands®—the world’s first doctor-invented alcohol-free line of hand sanitizers. Both the safeHands® Squirts and safeHands® Classic Line, their respective adult and children line, were created in an effort to create a hand sanitizer that is non-toxic, soothing and works with the skin’s natural oils to increase in germ killing with each consecutive use.safeHands ditched the culprit behind traditional hand sanitizer’s undesirable side effects – alcohol – and replaced it entirely with Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC), the same ingredient in mouthwash and eye drops, to create a hand sanitizer that is tough on germs and safe for skin.

This product is the perfect travel accessory, a safe backpack companion for kids and a great way to remain preventative of the cold & flu during the summer and back-to-school.months.

Aside from their website, safeHands recently debuted on Walgreens and Safeway shelves nationwide this year and can also be found at Navarro Pharmacies in Miami,FL.

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I recently received some of this product to test out. I got a whole sample set of 6 of the SafeHands sanitizer. In the 1.75 oz bottles.

I love the foaming kind of hand sanitizers and I love using it too. Especially if you are on the go somewhere and don't have access to regular soap and water - these are great! You could stick them in your purse, your car, in your camping gear.

These are also great for your kids back to school supplies. They can stick them in their backpacks, lunch boxes or bring them in to give to the teacher for the classroom.

These also come in a variety of scents. Like clean linen. And some scents kids will like too - such as bubble gum, or tootie fruity! My daughter wanted the bubble gum one :)

Visit these links for the co. safeHands:

Website: can purchase online or use the store locator to find in store near you. It shows the have some in Walgreens around where I live!
