I got some heart and star decals/nail art to review from VinylDisorder
This company sells other things also. Such as custom stickers, decals, wall art/decals, etc. But they also sell a variety of vinyl nail decals.
I am not an expert on doing nails by any means. But I thought it would be fun to decorate my nails with these. First I painted my nails with a sparkly grey nail polish. Then I added a vinyl decal to some of my nails. I decided to do two hearts and a star on one hand, and two stars and a heart on the other.
Then I added a top clear coat to my nails. Here is some more pictures I took:
I think these came out really cute! Looks better in real life - ok - because I am not expert at taking nail photos either. But they seem to be staying on pretty good so far.
A few tips - I would press these down a lot - make sure they are flat before going over with top coat. Then maybe even apply 2 layers of the clear coating. The stars were harder to get to stay on with out crinkling, but after a couple of tries I was able to press them down more and they seem better now.
Another thing I think may help is wait until whatever colored nail polish you pick to put on your nails first - is completely dry before you apply the nail decals. They will stay on better that way. If I do these again - I will wait to apply the decals a little more, because I did that later with another star, and it seems to be staying on better then the others.
Purchase: Check out the Vinyl Disorder website for more selection of vinyl nail art. There are some cute ones on there. Such as these Mustache ones:
