And haven't tried feeding the birds since then, until Sunday, when I bought a squirrel proof feeder.
I mean I like squirrels - but get really irritated when the eat all the bird seed, plus they chewed up both the bird feeder and the humming bird feeder I had.
Here is my new feeder. Now I just have to wait for the birds to find it!
We got a squirrel-proof feeder last spring! I think it's called "Squirrel Buster." It really works! I got some funny shots too.
ReplyDeleteThis one is supposed to be squirrel proof too. Hope it works!
DeleteThat is exactly why I don't feed the birds anymore in my yard. Damn squirrels.
ReplyDeleteWow, great photos. What sort of birds to you normally attract?
ReplyDeleteChickadees, cardinals, etc.
DeleteI was hoping to see some more unusual ones too, because my husband said he read that because of the weather this winter more birds are having different migration patterns then usual.
squirrels look cute but scary in a way...
ReplyDeleteI think squirrels are fun to watch. Too bad they ate your bird seed. Have a terrific Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI had some birds on the new feeder today! some chickadees & titmice
DeleteSquirrels are cute... but I guess they can be quite sneaky, too, huh? :)
ReplyDeleteyes they can be :)

ReplyDeleteI like your new feeder. Those squirrels are little devils.. Cute shots.
ReplyDeleteThey are determined aren't they! You can also just put baffles on your poles.
ReplyDeleteWow, they ate through the feeders? They were definitely determined. The new bird feeder is really pretty, so that's a bonus!
