Favorite Movies On Time Warner Cable

 One of my favorite actors is Leonardo Dicaprio. I seriously love him! He is an awesome actor and I totally love every movie he has ever been in. I am so excited that he won the Golden Globe for his performance in the new movie, “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

 Now he is nominated for an Academy Award for that movie also. I really hope that he wins. Thinking of him also puts me in the mood to watch some of his other movies now. I was searching on Time Warner Internet today. And I found out that, you can find movie reviews of current movies.

Then you can find out which actors are in the movies and then find other movies they star in. When you find a movie on their list that you would like to watch, it is instantly available On Demand, on Time Warner Cable. For instance, as I just mentioned, I love Leo Dicaprio, so I was finding movies he was in.

And of course as you can imagine, the most famous one of his is Titanic. That is available for viewing On Demand. I love that movie. I think I have seen it at least 5 times, maybe more. Searching for that movie then lead me to some other movies that he has been in.

Another movie of his that I like is the movie Departed. Have you ever seen that one? It is an awesome movie about an undercover cop and it also stars Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg too. This one can be watched on Time Warner On Demand. Leo has been in so many movies!

 Another one of his that he was really good in is called J. Edgar. He portrays the head of the FBI for over 50 years, J. Edgar. This was a really interesting movie, and I didn’t really know anything about this topic before watching this. Leo was excellent in this movie also, and really never got any recognition for this one. But if you get the chance you should check it out.

There are a lot of his movies available instantly on Time Warner On Demand. Talking about these movies is making me really want to watch some of them again. I could do a Leo movie marathon! Maybe that will bring him good luck in finally winning the best actor Oscar! Do you have any favorite Leonardo Dicaprio movies?

Time to start thinking about the Prom

I was just talking to my mother, because she received the graduation picture of my son. I just had sent it to her in the mail. He is wearing a Tux in the picture and he is so handsome! Then we were taking about the next time he may be wearing a Tux and we thought of the Prom.

The Senior Prom is coming up, and I hope my son decides to go to it. I think it is either in April or May. Being a guy they don't get as much fun or flexibility in what they wear, as a girl does. But I think the guy has to or tries to match what his date is going to wear.

Before you pick out what colors for your tie and jacket, etc., you would want to know the color of the DressFirst. I really like the above dress that is pictured. Isn't that gorgeous? Here is another dress that I like:

Just looking at some of these 2014 Prom Dresses, I realize I think I lean more towards the pastel colors. If my son does go to the prom and his date decides on a pink color, it would be cool if he wore a matching bow tie and cummerbund. We will have to wait and see what happens.

It is still a few more years off for my daughter to think about the Prom. But she, I am sure will go. She is already planning on it, unlike my son. So I will be able to at least help her pick out a dress when the time comes.  I'm not quite sure what her style is, but I bet she would like something like this:

Snow in Virginia

Polar Vortex delayed schools for 2 days a couple of weeks ago. Which I'm still trying to figure out. going to school 2 hours later, it was still freezing. Why bother with a delay?

Last night they called and cancelled school for today. It wasn't even snowing yet, and still as of now hasn't even started yet. And now may not even start until 4 pm. And they were supposed to get out by noon anyway today, because they have exams this week.

It's crazy! Oh well - it's just different then I'm used to growing up in Massachusetts & New Hampshire.

Anyway, might as well jump on the bandwagon. We got some flurries last week and I took some Vines. It was a big deal around here! lol - if it snows later I'll get some pictures of that - lol

My thoughts on product:

I learned to embrace my curls a long time ago. When I was younger, I used to get perms. Even though my hair was already naturally curly, so I didn't really need a perm. And when I did get one it would stay in my hair forever. Well anyway, if I try to do my hair another way, the curls just come out. So now I just go with it and I like it.

Sometimes though it can get frizzy. So that I don't like as much. I have been trying the Curl Keeper for approximately a week now and I really like it. 

It is a clear liquid, and has a slight perfume scent. But very slight and not overpowering at all. It is sort of like a liquid gel. At first I thought it would be sticky but it goes on my hair smoothly and dries without any stickiness. 

Directions:

I have been blow drying my hair a little - just so it isn't soaking wet. Then applying a squirting of the Curl Keeper into my hair. Then letting it dry from there. It has really revitalized my curls - taken away the frizziness and actually left my hair softer then it was before!

I can tell you about the consistency of this product. It is a thick cream that is yellow in appearance, but applies clear.  (is even yellower then appearing in this photo I took of some on my hand)

It also has a very pleasant scent. I am thinking it actually has a lemony scent to it. Which is very nice. The directions say to apply small amount to problem areas, one to two times a day.

My daughter is also interested in trying this out. Being an active kid, she has a few scars she would like to try this on. She put some on recently and we'll see if this helps!

Happy New Year! If you recall one of my previous posts was on an Ozeri frying pan. That one was a "textured surface." Well another one I received is a "smooth ceramic surface."

Here's some product info:

My Review:

This pan is different from the other one I have reviewed, in the fact that it does have the smooth surface within the pan. It also has a longer handle - which is kinda cool. 

The Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic pan, also does seem a little deeper too. It had deeper edges and my husband even used it the other day to re-heat some homemade chicken noodle soup that we had made. 

This morning hubby made some New Year's morning pancakes:

With little to no clean up in between, he then decided to make himself an egg, cheese and shrimp (leftover from last night) omelet:

This a great pan to add to your collection, and I would really recommend it, I also like that it is  100% PTFE and PFOA free!
