If you "know" me, you'll know I grew up in a town just outside of Boston. I love The Boston Red Sox. And my husbands' and my family all still live in various towns throughout Massachusetts.
Even though I moved to Virginia almost 2 yrs ago, I still consider Massachusetts my second home. This picture was on the Red Sox Facebook Page today:
In honor of Boston and Massachusetts here are some pictures that I didn't share from last summer. While visiting my Mom, we went into "Harvard Square." We also strolled around the Harvard campus.

I'm the same way about still considering my 'home' as Seattle - I love the shots, and I'm giggling over Rosey's comment that one of your kiddos might be running Harvard one day and this post will come back to haunt you! :)

I always loved being able to go into Boston, and then to turn around and leave the city behind until next time. Things may feel a bit different next time I go though :(
ReplyDeleteNice post. I used to live in Rhode Island and Mass as well from my teens to later 30s. I spent lots of weekends in Boston with my friends,(many of whom still live in the area). Any time innocents are attacked it is heartbreaking. When it hits an area you loved so much it stings quite a bit more. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
