I love the picture of the kids at Chef Mickey's. We go every year and that restaurant is one of our stops year after year.

  16. Though I won't do it on my blog, I will do it here:

10 years ago, in 2003, I was busy being a mommy to 1 who was only 8 months old (I am now the mommy of 3) and dealing with the aftermath of a nasty ice storm and preparing for my 3rd anniversary (coming up in a few weeks).

5 things on my to do list: laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, deciding what is for dinner, deciding what to post about on both blogs.

5 snacks I enjoy: Chobani yogurt (especially pineapple), pretzels, peanut butter (by the spoonful some days), carrots and apples

If I was a millionaire, I'd pay off our mortgage, help family out financially that needs it and help some friends in need...and save some for a rainy day. :)

Places I've lived: Indiana, Michigan and Tennessee (for college)

    Bad habit: Procrastination!

Jobs: financial secretary (two different places), deli worker, cashier, day care teacher and sub teacher

People tagging: No one. :) I think people do them if they want; no sense "forcing" them. :)

    Have a great SITS Day!

  21. Sue, I hope you're having a wonderful SITS Day, dear. It's a pleasure to be invited to check out your blog. I love mish-mashes. But more than anything, you got me when I saw that you guys are campers. Me, too! Although I haven't been in a while. But I do love camping... a lot.

Sue, have a blast today... lay in all the SITS Girl love coming your way... and relish all of the attention that you so rightly deserve!
    HAPPY SITS DAY!

  22. It's nice to meet you! I saw your site on SITS :-)

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one to leave my gas tank almost empty. We live ten minutes from the nearest gas station, and I have three kids 4 and under, so running out of gas would NOT be cool!

And I love your Disney picture! Such happy looking children!

  23. Happy SITS Day. Congratulations. I am new to SITS and a bit confused on what to do.

I have never allowed by gas level to go below 1/4 tank because I have heard that when the tank is very low, you risk damaging your vehicle's engine due to all of the gunk at the bottom. Don't know if that is true or not but it never made sense for me to take changes.

    1. you just basically can find other blogs to read. and comment one, and then they will hopefully in turn visit yours.

My husband is now enforcing a 1/2 a tank rule. because I really think there was something wrong with the gauge - it was showing 1/4 tank but don't think it was accurate. So now I'm a little over a 1/2 a tank and when it goes past that - I'm supposed to fill it up (or at least put $10 dollars worth in it)

  24. Happy SITS Day! I'm also really bad about filling up my gas tank. My low fuel light almost always comes on before I bother to stop and fill up. My husband has asked me to at least start thinking about filling up when I get to the halfway mark. I said I would... I don't.

  25. Happy SITS Day! The Nature Valley honey and oats are my favorite!! The Grand Canyon is amazing... I've been there twice and could take pictures forever.

  26. I once had a car with a gas guage that didn't work. I used a stick to measure how much was in the tank. I was a teen at the time. I ran out of gas...a lot! Thank God my friends didn't mind pushing. :)

  27. HAPPY SITS DAY!! My husband is the one who never puts gas in. I can have a lazy streak as well.
