My 8 month old kitty (Pepper) loves to sit in the windows and look out. During the summer she loved to sit right in the windows. But now that it's fall, they are shut. So my husband made her a little shelf on the window she can sit on and look out.
Great idea. My boys opened up our living room this morning (50 degree's here and the sun is shining) - our kitty boy is laying down as close as he can get to the screen.
I've always thought it funny how they call us SAHM's - when it seems that we can rarely just stay at home :)

Pepper is cute, and the window seat is such a good idea. We had one for my husband's old cat, Igor, who lived to be 20.
