My Question: Growing up did you have big birthday parties with your friends? What month is your birthday in?
My Answer: I ask this because today is my son's 14th birthday. His birthday being in July has always kinda meant he doesn't get the big "friend party." Instead he just gets the "family party."

ReplyDeleteGrowing up, my parents always did the 'family party' mode for us - probably because 3 out of 4 of us were in December 2 weeks before Christmas. :) I did get a surprise birthday party with friends for my 16th birthday, though - that was a special treat! :)

ReplyDeleteMy birthday is in July too. I never remember having super big birhtday parties, mostly family and a couple neighborhood kids. Not sure if it was because it was summer or just because those are the birthday parties we had.

I only had family ones. with my daughter we do friends and I limit it to 8 to 10 of them.

I never had a birthday party as a child.
ReplyDeleteMy birthday is in May I think....(long story)
My birthday is in August and as a kid that sucked because everyone was always gone for the summer. :( But now as a mom I hate that my son's bday is in January because it's too cold to have a party outside. The grass is always greener!

Mine's in July and I did have some great parties as a child!!!! I did a really fun one outside with sack races, etc.
