Book Review & Giveaway: "The Magic Warble"

I was recently sent the book "The Magic Warble," by Victoria Simcox to review and offer one in a Giveaway.

Twelve-year-old Kristina Kingsly feels like the most unpopular girl in her school. The kids all tease her, and she never seems to fit in. But when Kristina receives an unusual Christmas gift, she suddenly finds herself magically transported to the land of Bernovem, home of dwarfs, gnomes, fairies, talking animals and the evil Queen Sentiz.

My take on the book:

Honestly, I am not finished with the book yet - Although I'm about half way through. Some family issues have arisen so I couldn't give this the full attention I wanted to. But I wanted to get this giveaway up - to give you all a chance to win a copy of this book.

So far what I have read of it (I'm on page about 120 ), I have found quite interesting. Reading it I am reminded of the Narnia books or even the Lord of The Ring books. I like fantasy and adventure books and so far The Magic Warble fits right in that category.

I fully intend to finish this book, very soon. Probably even by the end of the weekend. Because so far the story line is very intriguing. And another reason is my daughter wants to read this when I'm done with it!

I would recommend this book to tweens, teens and anyone who enjoys fantasy and adventure books. I think my sister who is even older then me might want to read this when we're done too!
