Every year I plant a garden. Last year I even grew one awesome sunflower (if anyone recalls that.) I have pretty much always bought the plants already grown. And I usually run around trying to find them at different stores.
But this year my husband and I decided to try to grow the plants our selves from seeds. Not only will this save us time in running all around trying to find them, but money too! I hope it works out. So far it's looking good.
Here are some zucchini!
I'm also growing some more sunflowers and some marigolds.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a great start to your garden!
ReplyDeleteI want to plant a veggie garden too but our backyard is so small. I started planting herbs about a month or so ago in little pots and they're coming along great. Now just need to figure out where to put them. Yours are looking good!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE sunflowers! I can't wait to see your garden! :)
ReplyDeleteI love gardening! It's one of my most rewarding hobbies. You're off to a good start this year. Good luck! :)

ReplyDeleteI love cherry tomatoes! I think in about a month or so we'll start our garden. Maybe some year we'll do it likeyou guys! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a great start Sue. I don't know about gardening so much but there's something about it so relaxing.I tried cherry tomatoes a few years ago(in the other house)They were more delicious than I bought from the grocer store.
ReplyDeleteI have strawberry at my backyard. It gave only 3 fruit last year:)
I love to garden! Especialy watching the seed grow into plants because it's like, hey I did that. Looks like yours is coming along. Thanks for sharing! ;0)

Great job! We should try this sometime. Didn't have much luck with our garden last year, although we didn't care for it well.
ReplyDeleteJen

ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I wish I could so something like that but I don't have a green thumb it's more like black. LOL really I killed my son's plant that he planted and grew it was so pretty.. :( I just don't ever know when to water or when to stop adding water. I'm horrible!

Love it! I'm not a gardener, though I wish I was! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I hope they all continue to grow for you!
ReplyDeleteNice!!! I really stink at growing stuff.
ReplyDeleteOne day, I will have my garden. :-) Though I am terrible at starting with seeds. I just did some flower seed, and crossing my fingers on those...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like everything is coming along well!
ReplyDeleteWow I'm so jealous, I don't have a green thumb at all. I bet these are going to be just delish when they mature and produce a harvest!! You must eat the sunflower seeds from your sunflowers (I assume).
ReplyDeleteYour garden surely looks very promising.
ReplyDeleteLast year we grew courgettes and spinach. They year before it was tomatoes and cucumber.
ReplyDeleteWe're being a little more adventurous this year! So far I've planted spinach, cress, rocket, lettuce, beetroot, and 4 different fruit bushes :-)
Cool! I've been wanting to start my own garden so I finally started w/container gardening--just some herbs, and I finally started to see some green so I'm very excited =)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a garden now, but in the past I found it safer to buy them pre-started because I couldn't always tell the sprouts from the weeds.
ReplyDeleteWell you are way ahead of me and wow! They are budding!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get on with reaching where you are in this process.
I love gardens, although I don't have one of my own! I'm dying to try my hand at gardening one of these days, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and linking your WW post up on my linky the other day. I've been slowly making my way through a list of 69 blogs!
