Aloha Friday & Follow Friday




An Island Life hosts this meme. Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

My question: Do you exercise or work-out? And if so what do you do?

My answer: I used to work out more back about 15 years ago, but after kids, the most I have done is walking. But now I'm excited because I'm going to try to start doing Yoga. I have done it for about 3 days now. And just got some Yoga work-out tapes I'm going to try. Not sure how much of a "work-out" it is, but hey it's better then nothing.

  1. M-F I do yoga and home gym stuff. I try to mix it up on the weekend. Depends a lot on the weather as well because I like to run my dogs.

  2. I really really really DO NOT like to exercise-BUT I have come to the conclusion that my last child has messed me up for life and I'm going to have to if I ever want my tummy to look OK again. I plan on getting an elliptical machine b/c those are hard work and I KNOW they work on me.

    I DO go for walks with neighbors every so often though-I need to more.

  5. I use to work out religious before I had dakota. I use to teach water aerobics. How I miss it so much. I do now and use my Wii. But I really have to get back into a routine. I am following your blog (Friday Follow). :_)

  14. I do an aerobic video every day and then I follow that with strength training. One day upper, the next lower.

  15. I just started an amazing new program. It's been hard to get on a schedule, but now that I am - I love it! 3 days of strength training a week and 3 days of interval cardio (2 minutes at 120 bpm and 2 mintues at 150 bpm for 30 mins) a week. It sounds like a lot, but I'll be reaching my bikini bod goals before May! Plus I feel great.

  20. oh yes! Zumba, boot camp, circuit training, walking

    I've done yoga but I needed more intense workouts. I don't do stuff at home unless it's Wii exercise games.

    I work better in groups. I go to my local YMCA. I love it because I can take the kids!

  23. I am trying to get back into exercising every day...like I did before getting sick 2 times in the last month! I try to alternate between cardio and weight machines every day :)

  24. I currently do not exercise. I play on a co-ed softball team on Wednesdays, but that's it. I would like to start doing something called Couch to 5K, but I keep putting it off! I know I'm late to the party, but I'm also your newest follower now!
