Yoplait "Promise To Make A Difference" Giveaway - CLOSED
According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer within her lifetime; that's 12 percent of all women who will be personally impacted by the disease.
You may feel powerless in the fight against breast cancer. Well there is one way you can help. From now until the end of October you can save and mail your pink lids from Yoplait yogurt.
For every pink lid mailed in by December 31, 2009, Yoplait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to $1.5 million, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000. In addition, you can visit YourLidMatters.com to create online lid collection teams. You can also engage and inspire friends, family and colleagues to join the cause.
MyBlogSpark sent me the "Promise To Make a Difference" gift. This includes a free coupon for Yoplait YoPlus Yogurt (void in LA, NV and ND), a breast cancer awareness bracelet, and a leather jewelry case. I haven't had a chance to go to the store yet, but as soon as I do I'm going to pick up my free Yoplait YoPlus Yogurt, and save the lids to send them in. My daughter loves the bracelet, and is wearing it today to school.
WIN IT: One of my readers will win the "Promise to Make a Difference" gift shown above.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the lid thing, so I guess that will be my first way I can help fight breast cancer. I also try to purchase those items where proceeds go to breast cancer research. If you are going to buy everyday items anyway, why not choose the ones that help out a good cause?
