Camera Critters #11

Here is a couple of pictures I took of an Alpaca. I wish I could have gotten some better pictures of it. But at the time it was raining, and all of the Alpacas were sitting in the barn. The only reason this one ventured out was because the workers were putting some water in their dishes, and this Alpaca wanted to get out of the way.

They were so cool! I think this was the first time I had ever seen one before. We saw these at a place called "America's Stonehenge." Which was a really cool place, that maybe I'll do a post on it at another time.

    I love that he has been *defrocked*! Wonder if they keep the fur and spin it. Alpaca is such a wonderful yarn.

    Please tell me it was sheared!?! Wouldn't it be funny if its fur grew that way? We have some lamas around here that I love to see, I'm sure Alpaca is even more interesting:)

    Cool Picture of the alpaca. Today when we were in Big R they had leashes and collars for Alpaca's. They seem like such calm creatures.
