Mellow Yellow #6

Below is every yard owners nightmare - dandelions. These were not in my yard though- but in a field near my daughter's school. They still look kind of pretty when there is a whole field of them. Since I took this picture, they have mowed the field up there.

Hope everyone has a Happy Memorial Day. I am off to the parade in a few minutes, my daughter is marching in it.

  4. In the eye's of a child the dandelion is as worthy as a rose ~ until an adult calls it a weed.

    Have fun!

  5. dandelion...my munchkins favorite flower to pick to bring home for a gift. I have never looked at a dandelion the same since they sat on the dinning room table in a vase of water.

  6. Dandelions always make me smile ... especially when I see them in OTHER people's yards rather than my own ;--)

  7. They are pretty!

In Singapore we don't have yards (except for the rich) but I don't understand why people bother gardening when they can get such pretty dandelions by lazing on their bums XD

    Cheers!

  10. Hi Sue,
We get them in our yard sometimes. I like them when they are yellow, not when they bloom. You and your daughter have fun at the parade. Have a great week! :-)
