Below is every yard owners nightmare - dandelions. These were not in my yard though- but in a field near my daughter's school. They still look kind of pretty when there is a whole field of them. Since I took this picture, they have mowed the field up there.
Hope everyone has a Happy Memorial Day. I am off to the parade in a few minutes, my daughter is marching in it.
Have fun at the Parade. My granddaughter would just love that field of what she calls pretty flowers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Grampys Place.
We have alot of those in our yard too.
ReplyDeleteI love dandelions. They're the stars on earth.
ReplyDeleteIn the eye's of a child the dandelion is as worthy as a rose ~ until an adult calls it a weed.
ReplyDeleteHave fun!

dandelion...my munchkins favorite flower to pick to bring home for a gift. I have never looked at a dandelion the same since they sat on the dinning room table in a vase of water.
ReplyDeleteDandelions always make me smile ... especially when I see them in OTHER people's yards rather than my own ;--)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
They are pretty!
ReplyDeleteIn Singapore we don't have yards (except for the rich) but I don't understand why people bother gardening when they can get such pretty dandelions by lazing on their bums XD
Cheers!

Dandelions do look pretty as long as they are not in my yard!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are adorable.
ReplyDeleteACHOOO!
ReplyDeleteHope it was a fun parade. My kids did marching band. It was a lot of fun.
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteWe get them in our yard sometimes. I like them when they are yellow, not when they bloom. You and your daughter have fun at the parade. Have a great week! :-)
Great pic! How fun that your daughter was in the parade - happy belated Memorial Day!
ReplyDeleteMy little girl loves to pick them.
