Only One Car

My husband's car, a 1998 Hyundai, with over 100,000 miles on it, has not been running right for at least a week. The check engine light came on and has been sitting in our garage since then.

He tried to look it over, but cars are not what they used to be. They rely on computers more, so my husband can't fix them like he used to. So we will have to bring it somewhere to have it fixed.

Which, right now I don't have the money for. So my husband has been taking the other car to work, which leaves me without a car. But the good news is I already e-filed my taxes. And should be getting my tax return soon. So we will be able to use that money to fix the car. I just hope it doesn't cost that much. And I hope his car lasts awhile longer after that.

  2. ugghhh! I live in this fear. Both of our cars have high mileage. And like you said if one breaks down we really can't afford much in the way of getting them fixed.

Good luck. Hope it doesn't cost much!
