My mother-in-law was supposed to visit this past weekend. But she was unable to because she went to Florida instead! She is 83 years old and is still very active and really gets around.
As I mentioned in my last post she was in the Women's Army Corps in WWII. According to my husband she was a Generals driver. I guess she was in charge of driving the General around to things. That is totally cool. So she is a Veteran too!
About 40 years ago she was even diagnosed with mesothelioma. Which is a form of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. She got it from somewhere she used to work. She even received money in a law suit from it about 10 years ago.
My mother-in-law is really a nice lady and I hope she can visit soon. When she's not too busy!
Wow... with 83 yo still active & going around for activities! Hope you two will meet each other soon.
