The kids have been back to school for a couple of weeks now. I bought what I thought was all their school supplies, before school started. But I have already had to go out and buy a few more things for them.
My son is in 7th grade this year, and taking 5 different subjects. So for each subject he needed a different 3 ring binder. He needs to grab each one out of his locker before the class, so it's important for him to get the right one. If we had a Dymo label maker we could have different Color labels on each of his binders.
One top of the binders he also has a lot of different books for each subject. The teachers wanted him to cover all the books. But once you cover them it's hard to tell which book is which. With a label maker he could label each book with the subject and then he wouldn't make the mistake of grabbing the wrong book.
Another good use for this would be for my daughters lunch box and water bottle. We already had a lost water bottle. Before school started I had bought her a Hannah Montana lunch box and water bottle. The Hannah Montana water bottle has already gotten lost and the store doesn't have anymore. Unfortunately, I didn't have her name on it so I don't think we'll be getting it back. I wish I had put her name on it!
I thought I had bought all the school supplies we needed, but I just may have to buy a Dymo label maker. Then we could really get organized.
